Public Health

Thank you for attending this year’s event. The Sturgeon Spectacular has been carefully planned with the well-being of our guests in mind. As an outdoor event, we’ve taken steps to allow for social distancing and have provided additional space between snow sculpting teams, other competitors, and spectators. Here are a few of the safety measures we’ve put in place to ensure the safest possible event experience.

For the safety and courtesy of attendees and participants of this year’s event, face coverings will be required for any indoor events and competitions. Due to extreme low temperatures at night, musical performances have been moved inside THELMA and there will be a maximum capacity enforced. THELMA members will be monitoring the spaces and capacities of each room throughout the events.

We will have one way viewing lines for the Wisconsin State Snow Sculpting Championship. Please follow all arrows on the ground. There will be additional space for the sculpting teams this year as well with sculptors having at least 6 feet from their sculpting area to the public walkways. Face coverings are required when walking through the viewing areas as well, as those spaces are less than 6 feet in some areas. Please be respectful of other attendee’s personal space.

We appreciate your compliance and understanding, and remember to mask up and bundle up, and we hope you have a pleasant experience.
